How can I remove logged time from my work diary?

To delete any time that should not be charged to a customer, follow these steps:

  1. Right click on system tray menu of oDesk Team
  2. Select WorkDiary
  3. Click the box for every screen that needs to be removed
  4. Click the delete button located at the top.

Non-work related time includes checking emails, chatting with oDesk, idle time because you didn’t sign out of oDesk Team at the end of your work day, etc.

Remember that any time spent on non-work related items must be removed prior to Tuesday 11:59 pm deadline. Otherwise, a refund will need to be issued to the buyer.

In order to initiate a refund to a buyer, please

  1. Log in at https://my.odesk.com
  2. Click on the My Assignments tab
  3. Click the "view" button next to the assignment in question 
  4. Click the "Give Refund" button
  5. Enter the amount of hours to be refunded and a message for the buyer. Optionally, you can enter a comment for your own records as well.
