I am a sales professional with a high technology company, catering to the research and life sciences audiences; and I also am working to found my own small enterprise. I am considering taking on a virtual assistant to extend my productivity at work and complement my field efforts. Specifically I am interested in a professional, articulate telesales assistant who can reach out to contacts and arrange for appointments for them on select themes. Tasks could include: Appointment making: Calling through a list of suspects to set up meetings for me on select topics. Contact a group of people on a list to ask if they are willing to have a 20 minute phone meeting with me to discuss our technology etc. I would plan to coach you on key terminology. I am in a cost sensitive situation, pending the effectiveness and success of projects I may be willing to set up a regular ongoing arrangement for half a day per week or more. Prior sales experience, perfect fluency with English, and superb manners are vital to this type of work. Please describe your familiarity with this type of work. This is challenging work for those with a talent for engaging strangers and cold prospecting. Knowledge or experience with biotechnology or life sciences is a big plus, but not a strict requirement |
