This person was originally hired for a call center which unfortunately did not materialize as plannedTherefore that project has unfortunately been put on hold until a later dateJeniffer was most helpful on the Skype call providing useful information for setup of the call centerI was most grateful for the information and attempted to provide hours as a bridge until the call center went through - as both a thank you for the information and the fact that I had promised hours for Christmas cashFor substitute hours until the call center came through I assigned other tasks - even though the costs were higher than is the norm for these tasks on OdeskJeniffer learned to do wordpress blogs postsShe entered data on a posting boardHowever first I received a terrible facebook virus via Skype from Jennifer - I thought a standard virus scan had eradicated the virus - until I began to see the mouse moving directly over to the Skype controls Someone somewhere was obviously dialing out on my Skype account thanks to this virus or perhaps trojan programBy the movement of the mouse it did not appear to be a bot - but some person actually in chargeApparently Jennifer had not taken precautions with an antivirus program and as well had photo file receive ( virus can in the form of a jpg) on autoreceive setting on Skype Both standard security oversights showed a poor attention to detail and basicsHowever what bothered me the most were the almost weekly Skype chats starting out with "Do you want to make money ? "Apparently I was on the list , seen as a mark for hair brained mlm schemes or social networking for money or something in this veinI really did not appreciate these ploysIn addition I repeatedly told her to send information via email - however she seemed to want to pester me via Skype , ignoring my wishes, not realizing this was not an efficient manner for minor communicationOr perhaps it was because she wanted live communication to ply me with these schemes ?Who knows
I cannot fault Micheal for phoning me on Skype many times and being persistent and dogged to get the jobInitially it was a call center Micheal was listed as having good office , editing skills and vocabulary I arranged for him an assignment of posting to a website , with a future edition of wordpress blog posting until the call center came onlineMicheal was assigned a simple task of posting to a classified board He was provided two online sites as sources of materialThe next day I received an email - why was site number 2 down for maintenanceNo work was done in terms of any entries on the classifieds site yet 4 hours of work was charged on OdeskMicheal's answer was that the site was down , and how else was he to "get paid" from OdeskI asked that if site 2 was down what about the other site to work withI never received an answer and his response was to pretend as if the question was never asked and that he would just go on posting as before / or not posting and taking full time for payment
