Hello,
We need assistance creating the back end data base structure for a website. We need the database to also correspond with an appointment calandar that is updated through user queries. The database must also provide reports.
On the team is a css editor. She will need help implementing the code into the style sheets and making it function for the users.
Objectives:
Create a secure database structure using django
Create a scalable zipcode based geogrphic appointment system and calandar generator
Help implement code and queries into css template
The appointment system is the most difficult part because their are different geographic zones that are appointed to certain locations for appointments. The appointments also overlap eachother b/c for one location or instance, 2 people can have the service at the same time.
An example of the situation is: An instructor is teaching 2 students how to drive a vehicle, giving each student 1 hour of driving time. Student A is picked up by the instructor at 9 am, and Student A drives to Student B's house and picks them up at 9:30 am. Student A continues to drive until 10:00 am, all the while Student B was observing Student A's driving from the back seat of the vehicle. Student B begins driving at 10:00 am and Student A becomes the observer until they are dropped off by Student B at 10:45. Student B then drives to his home at 11:00 am and is dropped off. The instructor then drives back to the office.
It is a little complex because the asset (Instructor and Vehicle) are used to for 2 services( Driving Practice and Student Observation by the non driving student) at the same period.
The appointments made by the student must automatically take that into consideration when being booked.
The exact scenario will be explained in more detail as hiring begins.
