We are a small hotel company that uses Google Docs to keep track of our reservations and our guests' reservation histories & financial data. We manually enter everything into a spreadsheet with Google Docs and would like to create a Gadget that feeds off of the information on the data that we enter.  We have created a sample Reservations Spreadsheet here:

Currently, we have information on our guests' reservations on a tab called "Raw Guest Data."  The visual organization of where each guest is staying is available in the first tab called "Room Assignments (JAN-JUN)."

The obvious problem is that the information in "Room Assignments (JAN-JUN)" has to be manually updated.  What we would like for someone to do is to program a Google gadget that displays all the guests' information in a gadget that automatically updates itself when the "Raw Guest Data" is updated with new information.

Google currently has something very similar.  You can see an example in the tab marked "Timeline Gadget."  While it doesn't organize guests based on their room assignment, it does do a pretty good job of organizing the information based on start & end dates as well as creating a mouse-over with some additional info and a picture on the guest.

Interested programmers should have prior experience working with Google Docs and creating custom gadgets.
