We are looking for a LINUX Systems Administrator to work offsite/remote/virtual/telecommute on a contract basis. This position will provide server, infrastructure and applications support as part of system operations team. This position will also be responsible for the development and documentation of deployment tools for future releases of our product.
Job Functions:
Routine Systems Admin functions,
Manage change management systems
Configure and manage performance monitoring tools and notification services
Design, configure and tune high availability Linux systems
Compose and edit documentation for sysops team and end user
Handling routine admin requests directly from clients
Participate in product deployments, upgrades & maintenance
Assist in implementing, executing, maintaining and documenting proper back-up and recovery procedures.
Undertake various housekeeping and reporting functions for the areas of responsibility, including maintenance of shared resources.
