JME developer wanted for ad hoc and project work on a popular mobile video application.

Work will include addition of new features to the product suite in a continuous development cycle.

Excellent skills building and ongoing work for the right candidate.

The work is well defined and you would be working with a highly skilled and experienced software engineer in a multi tier phone to web environment. There are planned regular release and patch cycles and lot of future releases currently planned.

Mandatory skills and experience include:
  • Java Mobile Edition
  • Eclipse / Subversion development environment
Desirable skills:
  • JSR75 and JSR135
  • Web services / HTTP communication
  • Sony-Ericsson and Nokia S60
Optional:
  • JSE / JEE
  • PHP / MySQL
Would rate highly any developers that have access to their own devices for testing.
