NEED: Web Designer proficient in Dreamweaver. Company with 100+ websites in various stages of development seeks web designer with 3-10 years HTML/Dreamweaver/Photoshop experience for long-term help working with head designer to create new pages on our websites and update existing pages. Skills you must possess: * Must work fast and clean. We are NOT seeking a designer to do complicated designs or Flash. We are looking for someone with a good eye for what makes a clean, professional and classy site. Designer should be able to use supplied content (logos, images and text), to quickly create new pages and link to them from various other pages. * Must have good English skills. * Must understand CSS style sheets and how to troubleshoot HTML and change styles within HTML pages. * Must be skilled in creating logos and menu bars * Good Photoshop skills required * Basic knowledge of Meta tags and basic knowledge of forms required. * Must have an eye for fonts: knowledge of fonts and an understanding of what type-faces and type-styles work best for the web is essential. * Paragraph layout skills essential: Many of our sites are publishing-related and supply online educational information. It is important that our designers know how to best format text headings and paragraphs for ease of online reading, as well as attractiveness. * A good eye for color: Designer should be up-to-date on current trends in the world of graphic design; and be well-versed in both modern and classic styles. Work ethics: Overall, we are looking for a responsible self-starter to grow with our company. The right designer for us is someone who will take the initiative to look for "obvious" things that need to be done and take action to do them - an intelligent person who will always be thinking of possible improvements. At the same time, the designer must be good at following directions. If hired, you will work under our head graphic designer who has used Dreamweaver and Photoshop professionally for over ten years.
