Our OSCommerced based ECommerce websites are solid and reliable.  They process almost all of our transactions simply and effectively.

Our OScommerce has been outfitted to our specific needs, but is still 99.99% OScommerce and only .01% custom.  We need a variety of work done (longterm) but this job would be for 2 standard OSCommerce upgrades.  Modules for these upgrades do exists, and are welcomed... but they also may need to be updated to fix our specific needs.

#1)  Clean URLs.  Something many OSCommerce publishers look for to add search engine optomization to their sites.  Some modules already exist... but we may have additional needs like also leaving the old URLs in place so that backlink will not break.  I dont beleive that exists yet in the community... but may or may not be a simple addition to an available module.  Clean URLS shorten the URLS normally containing _ ? % to be much cleaner and search friendly.  For more information please search for a clean URLs module on the OSCommerce community contributions section.

#2)  You might also like (Section): Some of our products are not actively sought after, but make a great upsell.  None of our traffic comes to our site looking for an iPod Case,  but they may be very likely to buy a 20 dollar case at the time of purchase since they are alreayd spending / checking out.  Again some modules may exist, but we need our exact specifications met.  IE comes up at checkout.  We would even prefer something smooth for the user such as loading those items into the cart via ajax (That is how our warranty upsell section works, so there should already be a lot of the necessary code in place).

All programmers who are competent in OSCommerce and PHP are invited to this job.
