I am looking for an expert perl programmer who is available for long-term regular work on an existing community based website. You must meet the following specifications in order to be considered:

 1- You must be able to custom code in perl as well as be able to modify and work with existing code. 

 2- You must be experienced in programming for the web. The site is an online community with many features such as profiles, blogs, messaging, review system, guestbooks etc... You must have experience developing interactive, community type features. Think Myspace!

 3- You must have good math skills as well as good english reading/writing skills. I would like to have daily communication via email and yahoo IM. 

 4- You MUST be available regularly for work. This is NOT a one-time deal. I need someone who is available daily and who will give my site a consistent amount of time and priority. If you are the type of person who gets bored working on the same project, please do NOT apply. I need someone who is consistent and wants to find a steady team to join.

 5- Once you are comfortable with the site and code, you must be able to work quickly. I need to see consistent progress being made on the site. The industry I am in is becoming more popular and my competitors are moving fast with advanced features and ever changing sites. I need someone who can move with my pace and get the work done in a timely manner.

 6- You must be honest, friendly and hard working!!

 7- and of course, you must have a tremendous amount of experience in Perl and MySQL. My site code was split using autosplit / autoloader so it is a plus if you have experience with that. PHP is also an asset but not required. 

 The job would start right away.
