Developer needed to integrate various Joomla components and PHPBB3. Strong javascript skills required and a high-level understanding of jQuery or other AJAX framework

The total project will consist of approx. 100 - 200 hours and may extend across 3-4 different sites. The sites are hosted on Windows 2003/IIS with a mixture of MySQL and MSSQL 2005. 

We are developing a specialized Joomla front-end for vertical markets which include dynamic national organizations  so you may be required to use Joomla in a non-standard way. To that end, extensive knowledge of PHP/Joomla component/module/plugin development is required. 

We are based in the U.S. and the EST zone. We prefer someone who can work as closely as possible with us during the time period of 6 AM - 10 PM EST as our needs may change during the course of the day. However we can be very flexible if we have strong communication.

Depending on hourly rate and quality of work, a considerable number of future projects are possible.

While we will focus on development for this position, the ability to develop CSS-based templates is considered a plus.
