One of the largest and most prestigious social networks has an immediate, full-time remote freelance php/mysql / Actionscript developer position open. 

The ideal developer is an avid learner who is excited about web application development and wants significant growth potential. This person must be ready for a job that is hands-on, demanding, and deadline-focused

Job Qualifications PHP/MYSQL:

We prefer candidates with quantitative backgrounds who are passionate about technology. We use php5 and mysql5 in a LAMP environment. We require the use of best design (database/table) and coding practices (strict OOP, code reusability, security, documentation, etc.) Some javascript and xhtml knowledge is also required.

You will be working with a large codebase and your primary responsibility will be fixing bugs which pop-up regularly and building out existing modules to support enhanced functionality.

You will be working as part of a global team of experts in various technologies including databases, flash, linux, design and php/mysql and with an even broader range of cutting edge technologies. This position requires working nights.

Job Qualifications MYSQL DBA:

We have an immediate, full-time position open for an expert at MySQL and database design. Your job would be to analyze our software design to optimize our php/mysql queries, determine the optimal structure for new tables and databases, and normalize pre-existing databases. Ideally, we would also like you to program php so you can rewrite queries, implement data access objects, etc

Job Qualifications Actionscript 3 / Java Developer Position

We have multiple positions open for fast, efficient Actionscript 3 developers. However, if you're an expert Java developer we will work with you to help learn AS3. We specialize in making games for children and we have on staff some extremely creative illustrators, animators and AS3 coders. You will be working as part of an international development team making these games. We are very deadline-oriented as we need to push out a certain number of games each week, but it is rewarding as our games are widely distributed and very popular. You will have access to experts in all sorts of technologies, including AS3, XHTML/CSS, Illustration, Animation, PHP/MYSQL/Javascript, Unix, DBA's and software engineers. You really must be passionate about flash game development as our success is based on constant innovation and pushing the envelope on technology.
