Aspiring first time author interested in getting a non-fiction book idea published.
The work is career advice for scientists and technical people contemplating a transition into sales.
I would like to get advice on a range of things prior to any formal submission to literary agents etc:
Viability of the project within its niche market
Practical pointers on developing my standing and “platform”
Help in deciding whether to approach an agent or try for small publishing houses
Aid in preparing query letters for potential publishers or agents
Aid is preparing proposals for potential publishers or agents
You must be a published author with appropriate credentials in editing, critiquing and qualifying potential projects of this nature. Experience as an agent is a big plus as is knowledge of the related markets (sales literature, biotechnology careers, career counseling lit).
