I am looking for a high quality web designer to work with my team as-needed on various projects.

Your main task will be to convert wireframes and prototypes into stunning designs, complete with XHTML and CSS.

I am looking for a designer with the ability to create a wide range of designs, but with an extraordinary ability to create clean, minimalist designs. Here are some examples of the type of design quality I'm looking for:

You should be willing to work and rework your designs until they near perfection. Our standards are very high so I'm not looking for an average designer who'll create average deigns. I'm looking for someone who considers themselves one of the best and is willing to put in the hours to prove that.

Apart from the ability to create great designs, you should have the ability to write tight, minimal CSS. You should be familiar with concepts like Yahoo's best practices (http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html) and web design patterns.
