Here is what I am looking for.

Two things: 

Part 1:

On this site: http://www.crimepreventiontips.org/

You will see the page titles followed by 2  dashes. - - 

I am actually trying to remove the site name form the page titles. I cheated by removing it from the configuration in Joomla but am left with these dashes I cannot get rid of.

Also, I want the page generator tags removed - the ones that show the Artio SEF component in the header.

Part 2:

I have an Ajax script that looks to see what time it is on the server the script is on and displays one file if the store is open, another if it is closed.
It does this correctly, but there needs to be added in the ability to know what day of the week it is, as the store is only open Monday - Friday. I will provide the script and ask that you please add this ability to discern the day of the wek in it. There is a coonfiguration page which this should get added to so the user can specify what days of the week they want this check to be done, otherwise default to closed.

(Although I expect that there isn't a solution to this- I will ask anyway- if there is some way to do this without php being used that would be very good as I will run this on mulitiple web sites and som ISPs don't allow php to be executed inside of shtml scripts. I know the issue is that php seems to be a must since the time has to be sysnched up to pst no matter where the user or the server is.)

I want only applicants who have enough experience to give me a good and accurate ballpark estimate and - I cannot state this strongly enough - check their work before telling me it is ready.
