Silicon Valley (California, USA) company is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to help create a database-driven website.

Developer must be able to install Ruby on Rails on a webserver and get a simple “Hello World” print out application.  Developer should then be willing to teach how to create web applications within the Ruby on Rails environment.  We will then proceed with building a Facebook Platform API application that will use Ruby on Rails.  We  will communicate through Yahoo IM -- preferably both voice and chat.

Must Have:
 - Demonstrable experience developing Ruby on Rails applications.
- 3 examples of work, preferably site utilizing data manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to teach coding concepts and skills.

 
Technical Skills Needed:

- Ruby on Rails
- Previous experience with Facebook API is preferred, but not required.
