Bang was a key member of this project form the very beginning, and we are ending this assignment only because of budget issues.  I would keep him on if I could.

We need 1 or more experienced Ruby on Rails developers to assist us in meeting an upcoming deadline (but if the relationship is good, there will certainly be additional ongoing work).

We are implementing substantial new features on a social networking site that has particular requirements because of the target community.  Further details can be provided with an NDA.

Note that for the next 4 weeks you *must* be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week to this project--40 hours preferred.

You must have demonstrable RoR experience, preferably with a consumer-facing web site, and be well-versed in CSS and XHTML.

Preferred experience with
  • JQuery, but experience with similar frameworks (prototype, scriptaculous, extjs, etc) would also be considered
  • beast or other forum software
  • radiant, rubricks, or other CMS
  • restful_authentication, authorization, attachment_fu, jrails
  • Capistrano
  • subversion
  • Amazon EC2 and S3
