Exciting new SaaS (Software as a Service) CRM provider in fast growth mode is looking for senior LAMP administrators to design, document and implement SaaS procedures for our 24x7 Ops Centers with the goal of a 5 9s operation. 

These procedures include among others local and global server fallback, local and remote backups, local and remote rsyncs, monitoring and alarming, security and intrusion monitoring, mysql clustering, etc. A significant part of the job is the ability to produce very practical and usable documentation, as an unwritten procedure is not worth the paper it is written on (joke:-).

This job includes the need for periods of high availability to emergencies that may occur. It is potentially very long term. It will also be used to select IT engineers and administrators that will work with us on multiple future projects.
Must have:
  • at least 5 years of experience in LAMP administration
  • very good written English, and good communications skills
  • BS or MS degree in Information Technologies/ Computer Science
  • excellent test results in applicable fields
Preferred experience with hosting providers or large server farms. Networking and security experience are big pluses as well.
