We require a complete customer, order and processing management system to be built from the ground-up. It should be based on PHP / MySQL Framework and we need to be able to import our current data to it. 

We currently run a bespoke Java Software environment interacting with a MySQL database. MySQL database design can be provided along with screenshots of all current functionality and Use Processes. 

We work with local authorities and process orders in two ways.  

1) Despatch of Voucher to customer - enabling them to collect their goods from retailer. Retailers are defined by using an "Order Source" variable. Vouchers are printed by a daily report. Price of goods, and goods available are also dependant on "Order Source" chosen. So naturally we need the ability to Add / Edit Products and Retailes by Source. 

2) Direct Despatch of goods from our Warehouse by Couriers. 

We select the courier or Voucher method when taking the orders via the phone.

- Warehouse Production / Despatch Sheet (Prints all orders with despatch date of report day - except those that are vouchers)

- Other basic sales reports for Reporting Requirements. 

The system will need to be secure, with any stored card details encrypted. There will need to be a User / Group administration function and we will need to be able to add Users who authenticate to a session with a 15minute inactivity timeout. 

System needs to be searchable by most variables (Order ID / Customer ID / Customer Name / Postcode / Order Date / Despatch Date etc...) 

Order actions should be logged as "Events" on the Order. i.e. when a Despatch report is printed, orders on that report should have a note appended to say it has been printed. 

Staff members should be able to add notes to customer accounts if the customer calls or contacts us. Describing the nature of the contact. 

Customer Postcodes should be looked up from Royal Mail Data. 

We may wish to make this customer facing via an Online Portal for Order Tracking / Detail Amendments in the future. In the future, we should also like to integrate with our Ecommerce stores. For the time being, however, they should remain seperate.
