We are seeking bids to develop a kitchen screen application for us to complement our Point of Sale for Cafe's and Restaurant's package.

All data required will be housed in a sql database, example database will be provided.

Application has a few GUI qwerks as it is designed for touch-screen only use.

We are using this project as a test of outsourcing development work, we are keen to develop long term relationships with qualified developers in C# and SQL.

We estimated the job at about 40 hours for a competent developer.

Please note that the scope is as follows:
1) conduct some analysis and requirement gathering to ensure that the project is fully understood.
2) Develop the software - note that you will be required to use frameworks provided and you are required to develop to a high code quality standard for structure, commenting etc.
3) Fully test the application yourself and fix and and all bugs you find.
4) Submit it for testing to us, we will go through a user acceptance process. If any defects arrise out of this process you will be required to fix them at no additional charge.
5) You are expected to absorb up to 20% additional changes in scope for minor enhancements etc that are determined during any of the phases above. *this is to be at no additional charge*.

Regarding the last clause, i don't expect any serious changes, i've been writing develop specifications for over a decade and am confident that there shouldn't be much however i don't want to go through any arguements should something arrise.
