The network I need work done on consists of the following:

Machine A: Windows 2003 R2 Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, VPN, MS Exchange server
Machine B: Windows 2003 R2 Domain Controller (replicating), DNS (replicating), MS Exchange server (replicating)

Machine C, D: Ubuntu Server edition 9.04

Machine E, F, G, H, I: CentOS 5.3

What I need done is the following

1) Verify proper configuration of the windows servers, such that they replicate properly (for both failover and data loss prevention). This will include raising the functional level of the domain (right now I get "the directory service is busy" when I attempt to do this), and verification that the FSMO roles are set up properly.

2) Verify that the MS exchange servers are set up properly, such that all data is replicated. It's entirely possible that this is already working properly.

3) Set up my linux machines such that they authenticate against the windows domain. This setup should work seamlessly with NFS, which means that for a given windows user or group, all linux machines should map to the same uid or gid.

4 - Optional) There is an application called apcupsd ( http://www.apcupsd.org/ ) that I have set up on one of the Ubuntu machines, which initiates a shutdown if there is a power outage. I would like BOTH Ubuntu machines to shut down in the event of a power failure, not just the one USB-connected to the UPS. This configuration is depicted and described here http://www.apcupsd.org/manual/manual.html#choosing-a-configuration-type (client-server configuration).

PLEASE NOTE: If you cannot get to my job quickly (i.e., within a day or two), please do not even bother applying. If the work gets delayed over and over, I will cancel the job and find someone else.
