Acuedo is a new IT company specialising in Enterprise Java.
Acuedo is looking to develop a number training courses and is looking for a technical writer to assist with this project. The courses will cover all areas that make a good rounded enterprise Java developer including OOAD, UML, Java fundamentals to SCJP standard, HTML, CSS & JavaScript, J2EE, Struts etc.
We anticipate using a number of writers with various areas of expertise and have therefore post each course as a separate requirement.
Acuedo takes on people that would like to become enterprise Java developers but don't have the required knowledge and experience and trains them accordingly.
Acuedo offers training to these people that they can complete online in their own time (independent study). the training courses are supplemented with standard online support tools (forums, email etc.) and call center support.
This requirement is for the development of a course entitled 'Web Development using Apache Struts 2'. The course will be aimed at students with a good understanding of Java and web development using JSPs and Servlets. Students will also have a good knowledge of HTML.
Obviously we know that there are numerous free courses on the internet but it is important for us not to breach any licenses or copyright. Additionally we need to hold IPR of the course.
Rather than write out all the requirements in detail, the easiest way to convey our requirements is to reference the free course from Rose India. The Rose India Struts 2 tutorial can be found at http://www.roseindia.net/struts/struts2/index.shtml This course is a good reflection of our requirements.
I do not want to stipulate a number of pages, the important thing is good coverage of the content.
