We are Utopia Productions, a U.S based production company. We have already produced a beautiful commercial with influential actors for this project which will air Primarily on the MTV network. Most of the budget that has been appropriated for this project will be to ensure mass commercial airtime. We expect mass appeal for this web-site as our team specializes in marketing and production, we have already established a network of over 100,000 opt-in users who are eager to use the system we have created. We need a professional programer with smarty/web 2.0/ ajax/ ffmpeg/ red-5 skills. Original coding is a must, as our requirements are not common. We would like to offer $3,700.00 USD to a developer who can complete this site without error, as well as the option to stay on staff for an additional 5% of the net profits generated by the site. This will allow the programmer we hire to receive a passive income long after the site has been created. This will be a great opportunity for whoever can do this work without error, as the site is estimated to reach 10's of millions of users. Please expect to sign a non-disclosure/non compete agreement to join our team. We expect this to be as big as myspace/facebook and the programmer we hire will own 5% of this project.

This site must be constructed on an enterprise level allowing 10's of millions of users to upload/view/quickcapture videos with out error. We understand Smarty may help with this, as well as increase response times- which is crucial to our expectations, we must have outstanding response times. construction may include: Smarty, Web 2.0, jQuery/Ajax/RED5/ffmpeg- however your suggestions are welcome.

We currently have the same hosting company as youtube.com CentOS / Linux. In regards to administering the server (installing new software, setting users, permissions, configuring services,.. ) one for modeling
(designing a good database which is the heart of any project, by optimizing queries, tables structures, to get the fastest responses possible..
not installing and customizing an open source CMS, such wordpress, joomla,.. where most of the work is already done. Please let us know how you intend to do this to accommodate millions of users.

The pages of this web-site have already been completely designed and sliced to html/css using W3C standards. The only work that needs to be done is the implementation of the back-end, better known as the programming that makes all the sites features & functions work. All the pages of the site must appear and function the same without error in all popular browsers for PC and Mac users such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, FireFox, and Camino and validate in W3C.

Job description: This is a video driven web-site which allows users to create profile pages, leave video & text comments, video message back and fourth and email between members. Please read the sites features/functions below.

1) The web-site is to be tested and ensured to appear and function the same without error in all popular browsers for PC and Mac users such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, FireFox, and Camino and validate in W3C.

2) The site will have a "Quick Capture" feature much like youtube, which will allow members to capture themselves using a web-cam to send video messages to other members or to simply add videos to their profiles for others to view and comment on. Members may also browse their computer files and upload videos from their HD as well. Video uploads and quick captures are to allow members to submit videos up to 1g or 10 minutes just like youtube.

3) All videos are to have embed codes to allow users to copy and paste video codes for viewing on other web-sites. When the embed code is used to post one of our videos to a different site there is to be a water-mark on the video with our logo. All videos uploaded to the site are to be automatically converted to flash during the upload process for flash playback. You must install ffmpeg binary and install red-5. Members will be able to create photo & video galleries in their profile for others to view and comment on.

4) The site will have a search engine which allows members to search for one another based on physical criteria. The search results will then appear as a list, *starting with the members who best match the criteria entered. Several members can be contacted from the search results by submitting only one single message, simply by check marking the boxes next to each profile they wish to contact, they will then have the option to submit from one of the messages they have already created and saved, or create a new message to send. The member can then respond to the message by either submitting a video or text response.

5) Each member is to have the ability to create an infinite amount of unique url pages which are to serve as postings. There is a link found on the members home page which will bring the member to a blank form, once filled out this form will serve as a posting, members will then be able to generate a url for each post they create. Non members and members will then be able to access these unique URL pages to respond to the posts by uploading video or quick capturing a video in response. The video response will then be made accessible in the originators inbox. These postings are to allow an infinite amount of people to respond either by video uploading, video quick capturing (using a web-cam) or text format. Postings (unique url's) may be edited or deleted at anytime by the originator by signing in-to their account. Users who respond to these posts (unique url's) by video upload/quick capture or text format are to create profiles in order for their responses to be submitted, *but only after the video or text response has been created, then they will be prompted to create a user name and password to proceed and submit.

6) The admin section will provide me with information such as the number of members we have, as well as breaking them down by the title of which they joined, such as teacher, student, company. From the admin section I will be able to send one (1) email that will go to all members (or members selected) mailboxes which is meant to give updates and alert members of important information. When members receive mail to their site-inbox they should automatically receive an email to their physical email address telling them they have received a message on the web-site. Once opened, the email should give them a link to click on that allows them to sign right into the site and view their member profile mail.

7) Members will be able to report links that are deemed inappropriate. Inappropriate videos and/or profiles should appear as a list in the admin section for consideration to either temporarily or permanently delete profiles.

8) The site is to fit to all screens sizes properly while remaining as wide as possible without scrolling left to right.

9) All virus protection action is to be taken to prevent errors and crashes within the site.

10) All measures will be taken to ensure the site will be created to allow tens of millions of users access at once without error. The overall speed of the site should be equal to youtube.com. Video Upload times are to be equivalent to youtube.com. Buffering time for all videos of the web-site shall be equivalent to youtube.com, possibly installing red-5 and ffmpeg into the server.
