I’m looking for a personable professional working as an administrative assistant to help me with managing personal affairs and customer support.
The position includes routine tasks such as checking emails, posting weblog articles, research and fact-finding, bill payment, email review and response, appointment management, travel arrangements, gift purchases and shipping, online shopping, and other tasks to be defined. We prefer someone who would like to spread out their working time – early birds, night owls and everything in between. Our customers receive a 24-hour turnaround on all their emails or calls, so we also need coverage on WEEKENDS. We are looking for someone to work 30 hours per week and we stay in contact with all team members throughout the day; good communication is essential for our growth here as well as yours. Going the extra mile will not go unrewarded. Tasks include: Customer service interaction via email and live support from our website Administrative services such as: updating spreadsheets, data entry, providing daily updates of activities, and attending weekly team calls Ability to use ftp and do website tasks is a big bonus Experience with Quicken is another big bonus. What the job is NOT: Sales-driven, cold-calling, or commission-based. Limited to Monday through Friday. What you need: A desire to interact with customers and provide quality service The ability to adapt to change and meet challenges Reliability, integrity and responsibility Math skills required Business skills preferred A high-speed Internet connection Skype (to stay connected with teammates during the work day) Detailed oriented, organized, and takes pride in doing quality work The ability to learn quickly, and be familiar with computers and various computer programs. I am less concerned about current knowledge, but am looking for desire and willingness to learn. Must be creative and resourceful, and be able to think independently. You need to have a home office with separate workspace.
