Chicago based mail-order steak business looking to update current website with search engine optimization in mind. We currently have a simple shopping cart website. The site was just updated to utilize COLDFUSION 8. We are looking for better internet visibility and are trying to reach more potential customers online. The following are items that definately need attention, however we are also open to consulting and reccommendations by an expert like you:
- Rid current website of frames
- increase size and quantity of pictures
- special attention to the homepage
- redesign the checkout process (use more than 1 step in the checkout process)
- ability to subscribe to our blog/email list from the homepage
- add 1 simple page to the site containing recipes/preperation instructions
- insert html code for Google Analytics
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZERS:
- no frames on website
- better title tags, meta tags
- more text throughout site
- BUT AGAIN, you are the expert, so we are open to any advice on SEO.
Requirements :
Must have experience with Coldfusion. Site was just updated to Adobe's newest software, ColdFusion 8. Great English skills are necessary for Search Engine Optimization.
