develop a hardware gps device and an application to work together with Google Earth and or MS Virtual Earth as explained below:

1. a web service that will get XML https postings from a satellite communications provider and feed Google Earth or MS Virtual Earth application with the car movements such as lat/long, headway, speed, reverse geocoded address location.

2. An application that will manage all received data, recording it to a structured database and that manage the way all the tracked vehicles appear and behavior in Google Earth and or MS Virtual Earth application:
  • I want to be able to replay routes taken by the gps device.
  • I want to define groups of gps devices in the lateral tree view
  • I'd like to assign icons (such as passenger car, truck, boat and so on) to each gps device shown in the screen.
  • I'd like to be able to replay a route taken by a gps device in a birdfly way and also print it to a report.
  • Draw map to gps device from current position.
  • I want to be able to generate several cross referenced on screen and printed reports
