I have worked at NED University of Engineering and Technology as a Research Associate on a project titled, "Development of Strategic Framework for Construction Management practices, research and education" from February to August 2007. The project was being conducted as a collaborative effort of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan and Florida International University, USA.

 

The aim of the research project was ultimately to formulate a strategic model to improve the overall construction management practices, research and education being practiced in Pakistan. In order to do so, the researchers were involve in extensive data collection on all the aspects of construction management, including both project internal and external factors, through surveys and conducting statistical analysis to bench mark the construction management status. Also, the results of the analysis were used to develop a model to assess and improve a construction project in terms of management.
