MIP is the leading provider of employment and background services. This is an Enterprise Application developed using .Net framework 3.0 that automates the process of procuring data from the Municipalities and counties electronically, converting it in to HR-XML formats, and storing it in the MIP database.
Highlights of the Project:
1) Multi threaded windows service to get data from various sources like text files, XML, Web services.
2) FTP windows service to download data from FTP website.
3) Used SQL profiler to improve the performance.
4) Implemented Asynchronous XML Web service.
5) Read data from MIP Database and convert it into HRXML format.
6) Trouble shooting performance issues and fine tuning queries and stored procedures.

2)Involved in designing and coding of the Mid Tier Business Entities and Business Rules also involved in designing the User Interface using Web forms.
3)Presentation layer using MVP pattern which helped in keeping UI loosely coupled and each component were independently unit tested.
4)Service agent class which was responsible in calling the WCF service.
5)This service agent class exposes different methods for retrieving and setting the data from different databases.
6) List View control to present data with Server side paging using ObjectDataSource.
7)Data Pager Control was implemented to use Paging in the List View. This improved system performance.

9)MasterPages for common menu layout design.
10)Themes for consistent look and feel.
11)Profile for user personalization
12)Cache to improve performance of the page.
13)SQL Cache dependency to improve performance of the page.
