§ Participate on monitoring and evaluating the construction of San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc. the first Bioethanol Plant in the Philippines § Prepares trade-related documents for importation and exportation. § Opens account with bank in terms of trade transactions and with suppliers and clients. § Coordinates with all banks’ Trade Departments for possible bank transactions. § Deals with BOI/DTI for possible assistance with trade transactions. § Understand the Omnibus Loan Agreement. § Analyze and Research possible solution and alternative on problems related to trade. § Answers less technical inquiries received by letter, telephone, email, and from walk-in visitors concerning International and Domestic Trade. Resources include trade lists and supplier’s contract. § Coordinates with Systems Analyst in preparing Foreign Exchange Report and Correspondence by obtaining and organizing information on payment related transactions. § On own initiative or from brief notes or verbal instructions, composes correspondence and memoranda relating to International and Domestic Trade activities of the Company. § Assist Logistics on any arrangements with broker, insurance agent and insurance associate on all incoming shipments. § Monitor transaction related to Department of Finance, Shipping Lines and Shipping Agent in preparation of incoming shipments. § Monitors container bond deposit and refund upon disposal of container from the shipping lines including shipping and freight charges. § Perform certain office administrative duties as assigned by the Treasury Head. § Prepare brief reports or summaries on basic trade data as needed by the Head. § Prepare purchase order as defined by the contract and communicates with the Project Division. § Responsible for the preparation and checking of Letter of Credit, Amendments, Shipping Guarantee and Final Duties for submission to the bank. § Monitors validity of Supplier’s Contract, Letter of Accreditation with Bureau of Customs, Waiver on Philippine Shipper’s Bureau, Letters of Credit, Bank Guaranty and Standby Letter of Credit for arrangement of renewal before expiry. |
