We have developed a desktop application installer for Mac OS 10.4.5 (Tiger) using
Installer VISE, Code Warrior
and
Carbon with C++
.Installer was a compiled C++ code deployer. The installer takes several values from the input fields on the various screens (designed in XCode) of the installer on the runtime, and update the system files accordingly. Installer also takes the installation path for installation, and deploy the build shuttle onto that path.
Another label printing application is being developed in
Cocoa/Obj-C
environment to run on Tiger (10.4.x) as well as Leopard (10.5.x) OSs. This application will support legacy architecture Macs (PowerPC) and Intel computers. It will also have features for all major label standards Avery(c), Neato(c) and other Plain paper labels. A dynamic template based application will also be able to save labels as template for future printings in common NSArchive format for universal independence.
