Project: Web application for managing patients and test results (a health care project)
Role: backend developer

The backend contacts with other two systems. 
- One system is a web client written in Flex 3. The backend must provide web services so that Flex client can send requests to server. 
- Another system is an open source system that handle HL7 data (HL7 is a data specification in health care). The backend will use WSDL of this open source system to generate stubs classes and uses these stubs classed to called web services of this system.

Skills used: Spring, Hibernate, Web service (CXF), Maven, Linux.

Two projects:
- Liferay 4.2.3: Base on CMS portlets built in Liferay, I developed a set of CMS portlets that satifys customer requirements. Convert HTML prototype (designed by graphic design team) to layout 3 columns in Liferay. Portlets was implemented outside Ext environment, using Struts 1.0 and JSR-168 specification. Data is transfered between portlets by shared request attributes. Ant was used to build project.

- Liferay 5.2.2: I developed a set of newsletter portlets using JSF 1.2 outside Ext environment, JSR-168 and JSR-286 specifications. Data is transfered between portlets by event definition in JSR-286, shared request attributes and public parameters. Spring is used instead of faces-config.xml to declared backing beans. Maven is used to build project and manage dependency libraries.
