I have had many other programming experiences developing applications of all types, from simple console based applications/utilities, to more complex desktop, web, and systems integration programming projects.
I formerly started out as a C systems programmer and Visual Basic Application developer, and from then on, have focused primarily on developing Java based systems of all types.
My current and favorite web development framework is Apache Wicket. I find it most productive and effective when used in combination with EJB3 and JPA.

The system submits the applications to Cable & Wireless Jamaica’s Head Office in real-time and automatically provisions the orders against the respective electronic service providing platforms where appropriate. Implemented a Java Server Application that interfaced with NCB’s Banking Web-servers via HTTPS and allows customers with cell phones to carry out NCB banking transactions with their cell phones asynchronously by sending formatted SMS (Short Messaging System) text messages to the Bank Away implemented ESME.

Part of a programming team that developed a system that electronically supplies phone card credit to resellers of Digicel Phone Card Credit via a download of information over PSTN lines to Verifone POS Terminals.
