Worldnet Media
TGP Editor / Independent Contributor
This was my most favorite of all my jobs in my work history. They were professional enough to always keep things fresh and interesting (and changing) yet laid back enough that we could work in casual attire, take breaks as frequently as possible, and were extremely flexible with my school schedule. My duties changed so much over the 2 years at the office that I would have to summarize the experience as Data Entry, Editing, Website Moderation, and Website Support.

R.W Bech / Aerotek
Hurricane Relief Data Entry / Independent Contributor
This has been the most demanding job I have had the pleasure of working for. The very nature of the job itself was emergency relief for thousands of people who were struck by hurricane Wilma. I did massive amounts of data entry, collected physical tickets (which were used to keep track of the data from serviced areas), organized said tickets, and constantly had to brainstorm better and more efficient ways of working. We worked a minimum of 14 hour work days.

PRC Inc.
Direct TV CSR / Independent Contributor
This was my first, and hopefully last, taste of work at a call center. I don't mind preforming excelent customer service work, but the strictness was definitely not my ideal work experience. I have always been of the mind that I love doing project based work, which doesn't rain fire on me for wanting to use the bathroom or stretching my body from being in the shape of a chair for 8+ hours.
My duties included: Customer Service, Installation Support, Sales Support, Troubleshooting, and Database Entry.

Mentor 4 / Unisys
10 Key Data Entry / Independent Contributor
This position was probably the easiest job that I have ever accepted. I basically just sat in front of a computer with my CD player and a full library of music while punching in numbers on the num pad. A Washington Mutual check would appear on the screen and I would have to input the Check #, Routing #, and additional number data... Eventually it became less of a bore when we were allowed to enter the data for the customer on the check in which I got to use the rest of the keyboard.

Gamestop Inc.
Game Sales Associate / Independent Contributor
Here I did my run of the mill retail experience. My duties consisted of organizing the racks filled with game titles, cleaning the store every night/morning, and pushing for subscriptions to Gameinformer Magazine, and getting "sales" for pre-orders on future game releases. I performed really well in this job especially since I have a heavy personal interest and planned my college courses based on the videogame industry.

VSI Inc.
Criminal Background Check Investigator / Independent Contributor
This was my very first job and it was a very exciting prospect. I always thought it would be awesome to do criminal background checks, but it wasn't as investigative as I would have thought. My duties included organizing a lot of data in ACT Database, and sending an e-mail out to a company to pull out records of their past, and finally re-organize the updated data for use in the hiring process of many companies.

This school has been a great experience for me, because although I am told by many sources that you do not need a Computer Science degree to work as a programmer, I always wanted to get higher education. It was like night and day when comparing the teaching method used in this school and my previous high school. I was actually challeneged to want to learn and it was taking all my core classes that I realized how much I enjoy Journalism, Psychology, Philosophy, and Quantum Physics (which I actually picked up on my own). I am currently 4 credits away from my Associates Degree in Computer Science however I am pausing school due to financial reasons.
