I started my fling with creative writing at age 11 and it has never ended!

My first short story and poetry was published in a tween magazine in KSA where I was residing at that time.

Since acquiring my Diploma in Journalism and gaining new skills while working for a tabloid and a national daily, my writing has only become better with time and experience.

I use all the applications of MS Office with absolute ease (whether it's MS Word or Excel) since I have been using it for the past 10 years.

I am now using the 2007 version of the sortware and love its new style and features.

As an Hr Recruitment Consultant one part of my job was sifting and sorting through numerous resumes to select ones I deemed suitable plus rewritng and improvising wherever required.

Resume wriitng is a skill I have successfully applied a number of times.

I have a typing speed of 65 words per minute and I am aiming for 70 wpm.

Typing is one of the main processes in my career and I have been at it since the past 9 years.

As a freelance journo with one of the country's biggest national dailies, I learned a lot of valuable skills during my time frame there.

PAGE-MAKING, Editing, article-writing, interview skills, using Quark Xpress for page-layering etc. are some of the processes I was involved with on a daily basis.

After the Diploma I moved onto freelancing on my own terms and that has given me the kind of creative and financial freedom that I always had hoped for.

As a trainee journalist I was introduced to the nuances of Journalism.

Under the expert guidance of the senior editor I learnt editing techniques, re-writing articles without losing their central theme, composing articles on a wide range of subjects and learnt how to create quality content that demands instant attention by its reader.
