Description:
I did a data entry task on a construction-related software called ToScaleSoftware or TSS. I have to study drawings of roofing designs and put all the included materials into appropriate fields so that the software can produce an estimate regarding how much or how many of each material will be needed for the project. I was required to download and save .pdf files into my computer so that I could link each file to every assembly I built. To avoid confusion, I had to keep a record of each assembly to an excel spreadsheet.
I also did an extensive tasks on data gathering and data entry from Bluebook to Salesforce.com. Using Windows XP's Remote Desktop Connection Feature, I was able to enter the Bluebook.com and collect data; such as, name of company, telephone number, fax number, billing address, website, email address, and the name of the contact person. I copy each data item into the forms of Salesforce.com.

Description:
This is a long-term data entry project that lasted for more than 4 months. I need to be initiative to be able to find the data, which are sometimes not located in their usual places. For example, the contact details should be found in the 'contact us' tab but when they're not there I should look around the website. Some are in the 'about us' and some are 'invisible'. They can also be found in yell.com but with the use of information taken from who.is.

The objective is to find the best definition for each word, using quizlet.com. (Every word is offered with a multiple choice set of definitions.) The results shall be used by Grade Four and Grade Five students, so I chose the appropriate definitions as much as possible. I also used the Free Online Dictionary every now and then, so that I won't be far off with my answers. I have finished more than 6,500 words.
