Over the past 8 years I have developed and honed very strong skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML, XHTML and CSS. I spent 4+ years working with a small/medium tourism based sales & marketing company. Solely responsible for IT in the company, I redeveloped their large web site, finely tuned MySQL optimization and page serving, enhanced usability features and oversaw all online marketing, SEO, SEM and Adwords tactics.
I personally managed a EUR30k/annum Adwords advertising campaign and the company enjoyed a 293% increase in traffic over a 1 year period while reaping a 65% decrease in associated overheads, both through properly managed campaigns and the development of automation tools for the web site CMS and the back-office reservation systems.
I have built a number of web sites for startups from the ground up. I can build a custom CMS or integrate and tweak Wordpress, depending on project suitability.
I am seeking jobs on a developer or consultant basis. I will accept any job whether it be enhancing an existing web sites usability, creating web sites from the ground up or enhancing visibility on Google.
I also have some experience in affiliations through XML encoded web services, AJAX apps (where suitable), Perl, Java, Javascript.
