Education
Graphic Design will always be my true passion which is why I'm always looking to expand my skill set and knowledge. I typically do this by reading whatever I can get my hands on and also using Lynda.com to take as many courses that time allows.
Fitness
My other preferred past time would definitely be staying shape and going to the gym. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember. In my spare time I continue to personal train and educate myself on different techniques, programs and nutrition.
Photography
Photography has always been an interest of mine but it hasn't been until the last couple years that I have really dived in and had fun with it. My favorite kind of photography at the moment is urban. I love getting out and taking photos of old city scenes and people. I am also currently setting up my own portable studio so I can continue to evolve and integrate my photography even more in my graphic design.

Description:
Another brochure I created for an upscale rental retirement home in Ontario. This was one of many pieces created. Other pieces included calendars, menus and folders. Because of the older target market I needed to keep it clean, with large type and soft, relevant imagery.

Description:
Denny Finelli, a local realtor located in Ontario needed a brand new brochure designed. I used angles and strong, large imagery to create visual impact. I'm not a fan of headshots on brochures but in this case, as most realtors do, he wanted it on there so I had to design accordingly.

Description:
A simple 4 panel brochure for a Spa based out of Toronto. There was a lot of text in this piece so not a lot of room for imagery. The main challenge here was to organize the text sufficiently making it easy to find prices and services quickly.

Description:
An ongoing freelance project of mine is the designing of a monthly magazine called Winning Edge. I originally created the overall look and design and have created each issue since. Currently there is a North American version and a Japanese version which is in Japanese. Each magazine is 32 pages long and consists of no less then 5 articles. These are sample covers.

Starlight is a company that helps make kids wishes come true. I was required to design a small book containing items to bid. I kept it bold, fun and used a photo capture style that suited the overall feel perfectly.

Description:
ITT is a company that creates equipment for nuclear power plants across North America. Not the most exciting topic so my solution was to create a very subtle yet dynamic design where the main focus is on the message. Little accents like the silhouetted skyline at the bottom help tie everything into one cohesive piece.
