AAFES is a retail company specializing in the needs of the military community.  I managed a team of twelve people including one supervisor, and two Inventory Contol Managers. 

Responsiblities included:

Preparation and execution of projects.

Supervision of  inventory and adjustments for profitablity where needed.

Traning of associates in all aspects of a retail facility.

Preparation of accurate reports pertaining to inventoy, sales, and costs in facility.

• Assisted in the hiring of new employees, and primary manager responsible for training new associates on company policies, product knowledge, sales floor skills, and visual merchandising.
• Designed a new system for receiving and organizing merchandise int eh stockroom, making the process of moving the product  to the sales floor more efficient.
• Created a more effective communication plan in the office to ensure that entire management  staff were made aware of email coming from corporate and other stores.
• Served as the primary contact for all IT issues occurring with the facility.
