During my education, I worked part time as a Cashier and Cashier Supervisor for Shopper's Drug Mart. This is where I gained a great deal of experience communicating with people in various capacities.

As an employee, I learned to take directions, and work to exceed expectations. As a supervisor, I learned to communicate directions to other employees, to deal with the concerns of the employees that I was supervising, and to manage these elements with the expectations of my managers. As a representative of this organization, I learned to fulfill customer expectations and to disarm some hostile situations.

This skill set has translated well into dealing with employers, co-workers and clients. I have a high threshold of patience, and am willing to re-explain and re-work communications until everyone is happy.
