Ladbrokes is one of the leading betting companies in the UK. I managed a £1,000,000 turnover shop in Essex with a shop team of 6.

My responsibilities were:

  • Staffing the shop
  • Looking at shop figures and writing reports on the information gathered 
  • Good customer service

    *Inputting data from betting slip into the system

  • Gathering other shop figures and relay infomation back to the District Supervisor
 
During my time at Ladbrokes I took several courses to enable me to improve my skills and give me a better understanding of what the business required of me. I also attended regular manager's meeting and was also the Cash Quest expert for the area.

Myla is a breakthrough lingerie company, they have several concessions in London. www.myla.com while at Myla my duties were:

* Taking orders from the website and processing them

  • Taking orders over the phone and inputting customer information into the system 
  • Picking items and dispatching them from the warehouse 
  • Upselling and cross selling across the Myla range
 
I also took an upselling and cross selling course, which was very beneficial.

Also a member of Young Enterprise, a young persons set up company through the school. We aimed to create products to sell and raise money to help fund our venture.
