Sergei appeared to be a very qualified service provider during the hiring phase, as his past projects and list of skills placed him clearly ahead of other candidates. He was quick to contact us regarding the project, and advised that our list of to do's could be accomplished with ease. The project seemed to be going well, but we quickly realized that Sergei was over his head, and had even outsourced some of the minor work we planned to do ourselves. We were left with an unfinished product, that will require a substantial amount of work to correct, in order for it to arrive where we had originally envisioned.
That being said, we would give Sergei another chance, as his motivation during the earlier part of this project demonstrated that he is a competant worker. However, we would caution potential project managers to ensure that he does not get over his head with unfamiliar software, as was the case with our Joomla based project.
