Two-years long project for the AGPM company, the french army's leader insurer.
I've been technically leading a 8-person team who have developed the new claim management system of AGPM. This system is made up of web applications built with Java/J2EE/JSP/Struts/Hibernate/Spring technologies. They are hosted by a Weblogic server, databases are managed by SQLServer.
Moreover, I've been in charge of all the database models, the business object models and of the data access layer design (including Hibernate mapping). Heavy use of AMC PowerDesigner and Borland Together
A very instructive and successful project.

Description:
This project was carried out in many steps (I still occasionally do some evolutions) and led me to build a complete framework and application managing all the scientific payload of an AUV developed by Ifremer company.
The framework makes it possible to define all the links and sensors (with serial or network interface) declaratively in XML, and then to program some plug-ins having access to these links (for I/O) to perform many kinds of processing :
- control/command, generally based on the listening of an input link,
- archiving sensor data,
- processing (merging, computing, ...) sensor data,
- and much more...
That makes this framework very extensible and reusable for any system needing to establish external communication, and to process incoming data.

Description:
This console application is an extended FTP server, able to receive acquisition data from industry equipments, and then to process them. It finally inserts data into some buffer tables of the target database.
Some commands enables to show statistics and to control FTP server and acquisition.
The tool was developed with Java/JDBC/Oracle, I worked mainly on conversion, JDBC and database aspects.
It was used by the J2EE application ASO of the Senside company (Schneider subsidiary).

This application has been developed for ESCOTA company
(managing highways in South France)
It allows the maintenance people to mark the firm equipements according to a set of various criteria (according to seriousness and criticity axes).
Once the equipment have been marked, it is possible to display PARETO diagrams, what gives priorities for equipment renewal.
This tool stands as a support for a maintenance methodology designed by our partner on the project, GPMG21 company (http://www.gpmg21.com)
Developed by a 3 person team with Java, Swing, JDBC, SQLServer; I was in charge of business and data access layer (database design included)

Based on data prepared by the tool Dataprep, this system makes it possible to select useful data for mission (raster, elevation, vector), and to visualize it directly in the target system (dual screen is preferred).

- module to upload mission on target devices (tablets)
- 3D module to rehearse or replay missions.
