We have worked with Hassan in the past and he usually does very good (if not exceptional) work. He requested an hourly rate adjustment (from $16.67 to $22.20) and we happily accepted his new rate. We based that decision of increased hourly rate from past experience with Hassan. Thats when things started to go wrong. Missed deadlines, unavailable to speak (except through email - no chat), and poor communication. He handed off our "final" HTML and when viewed in any browser, all of the images were offset too far to the left (a CSS error). He indicated that it would take a few days to resolve (and obviously billable time). I handed the ZIP of the "final" HTML to an in-house designer where I work and he had it corrected in about 30-seconds.Now, something seems a little fishy here as well. Looking back at the screen shots within oDesk, he uses Photoshop CS3 and DW. It took him 10+ hours to "create" the HTML, yet using those tools essentially does all of the work for him.I am going to attempt to dispute some of the time logged because frankly, while the work was "completed" it took far too long/too costly and the final "deliverable" was incomplete/incorrect as well. Likewise, we still are waiting for the Photoshop deliverable files from this and another project past.
Email Tools Online, I started this project in mid November. Estimated time dedicated for the project was 60 hours, But I finished this all up in 48 hours. Tasks accomplished by me are as follow:1- Web Design ( Main Page & Inner Pages)2- HTML/CSS ( Web 2.0 )3- Cross Browser Compatability ( IE, FireFox, Chrome, etc)Mr. Jason, Project administrator, his prompt feedback & postivie attitude make this happen. Besides he is also a developer himself. This is the first project that I have finished with someone & its live.
