The software is complete database system with very friendly graphical user interface. This system keeps the record of information that is filled in on a form by the quake-survivor. The system provides the feature to upload the scanned images and documents related to the quake-survivor and his/her destroyed house. Using this system the previous or current data can be imported from or exported to Excel sheets for the customizations of reports. Technologies used: C# ASP.NET, SQL Server About ERRA Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) was set up after the destructive earthquake of October 8, 2005 with the mission to plan, coordinate, monitor and regulate reconstruction & rehabilitation activities in earthquake affected areas, encouraging self reliance via private public partnership and community participation, ensuring financial transparencies. On April 7, 2006 ERRA started their 1st collection/ survey of the destructed houses and quake-survivors for distribution of cheques of Rs. 75,000 each among quake-survivors to start the reconstruction process. Then ERRA started their 2nd survey for the plinth level inspection to ensure the work of affected people and distribute cheques among them. Then ERRA started their last and 3rd survey for lintel level inspection and distribute cheques.

He can also view the report related to the progress of a class and academic programs also he can send an e-mail directly to the faculty member with complete confidentiality in case of any academic disturbance. The faculty members can monitor the attendance & progress of each student registered in their course. He can spot any disturbance in the class regarding attendance, scores and can take corrective actions immediately. He can also view the scores of the students registered in his/her class for the previous semesters. The parents/student end facilitates the parents to monitor the progress of their wards in terms of their attendance & scores. The registration & examination cell can check the latest scores and publishes the result notification with ease and accuracy. Since, all the above segments that aid from COMSIS are part of the institute, so the University will actually benefit from it, as it brings effective co-ordination, better efficiency overall and less paper work. COMSIS is a web based application and hence very easy to use for even a non-IT person. Technologies used: ASP, SQL Server About COMSIS The automation/computerization brings valuable efficiency and makes available the information at times when it is most needed to make the right decision. This is an established truth. COMSIS which stands for COMSATS Student Information System is one such effort to develop a comprehensive Student Information System. The software was developed solely at the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad using its existing resources. The development of COMSIS started around January 2002 and since then it has passed to different phases and now it has matured enough to reliably handle all the activities for which it is designed. The system has also gone through a rigorous testing phase.
