Description: The system has a host of features, functions and interfaces to allow building a sophisticated reservation and online sales system. The system has following modules:
Customer-facing website
The system features an easy-to-use web interface dedicated to selling travel products and services to members of the public - either directly over the Internet or via agents and affiliates. Incorporating sophisticated browse and search facilities, the system pulls together live availability and pricing information from all suppliers (via XML feeds) and merges results with those from own contracts. Integrated results are presented to the user in a single, consistent display.
Reseller and affiliate support
The system offers a variety of ways to get product to market more effectively.
- Sell directly to the public via own-brand web site.
- Create affiliate and reseller web sites, each rebranded to match their chosen look and feel, allowing to establish high-quality partner programmes to help reach more customers, more quickly.
- Make our entire inventory available via the system's own XML interface, allowing to sell through XML-enabled agents at gross or net rates.
Back office administration
The system includes a comprehensive web-based administrative interface which allows managing and keeping track of all data, including:
· Products, hotels, descriptions and contracts
· Countries, regions, cities and districts
· Prices and mark-ups, currencies and exchange rates
· Customers, bookings and payments
The administration interface also allows reservations staff to make and amend bookings on behalf of customers and agents. And because the interface is web-based, it can be accessed securely from anywhere in the world.
The system allows partners direct access to their bookings and data.
· Affiliates can access information on their bookings and run reports on sales and site usage.
· Agents can buy products at net rates, manage their bookings and track payments.
Suppliers and hoteliers can log onto the system to manage their own data and bookings. Suppliers can perform any the following tasks, subject to us configuring the system to allow them to do so:
· Search and view their bookings
· Accept or reject automated booking requests generated by the system
· Update their product / property information as it appears on our website, such as hotel descriptions, travel directions and property images
· Update their pricing and / or availability information online.
Reports and statistics
The system can provide with an up-to-the-minute analysis of all business information, including:
· Web site usage profile and volume
· Availability searches and bookings (successful and failed)
· Tracking of affiliate sales, partner sales and referrals
