Till recently I worked online for Ishi Systems INC., USA (through their sister concern Ishi Systems, India) as a Resourcing Associate and Resume Editor (Independent Contractor). I edited and re-structured hundreds of resumes for Ishi's consultants along with interviewing hundreds of prospective candidates (across USA and Canada), marketing the company to consultants, calendar management, appointment setting, scheduling, emailing, documentation etc:-, working in a team (online) as well as independently without any supervision. Hence am highly capable of handling online jobs and the technologies/ software associated with it. Apart from other skills this job called for excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with native English speakers in the USA and Canada.
Professionally, I have 12 plus years of experience in the marketing/ administrative/ management field and I have worked in major Indian cities such as Mumbai (Bombay) and Chennai (Madras). During my long career I have successfully handled major corporate clients including Proctor and Gamble, Garnier Cosmetics, Godrej etc. Also successfully catered to the creative writing needs of major clients such as Hotel Uday Samudra (located at the internationally famous Kovalam beach), Big Bazaar, Kotak Mahindra etc.
I have been involved in the writing and designing of brochures,logos and print Media Ads and other promotional tools which require knowledge, creativity, wisdom, sensitivity, sensibility, imagination and out of the box thinking after understanding the specific needs of the clients.
Apart from an MBA (marketing) I also do have an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Since keeping abreast of the Internet technologies is yet another area of interest I combine it with my love for writing by maintaining a tech blog.
It has always been a passion to express my creative intelligence through writing. Hence anything to do with this medium is a turn on. To satiate this inner need I am passionately involved in various forms of creative writing dealing with a wide range of subjects.
I am also a member of an online American poetry site. Many of my poems have been highly lauded by the member poets who themselves are great writers. I have a passion for music and I play the guitar and write lyrics, putting music to it.
To me knowledge is power and no subject is out of my area of interest. This pursuit to gather knowledge easily motivates me to apply my acumen for research and explore unchartered domains.
A constant strive for perfection is innate in me because I always have to satiate the two most important things in the inner me: self respect and self satisfaction. That is the very same reason why I only work on projects where I can do total justice. Also that is the very same reason you can expect total quality from me.
