Duties & Responsibilities-In charge of Finance department including 2 staff members -Full Financial Function for all companies - up to Balance Sheet including balancing of intercompany accounts and preparation of Management Accounts. -Presentation on Management Accounts to Directors -All Statutory Returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF) -Payroll (full function) -Overseeing of Debtors & Creditors -Mid Month and End of Month billings budget, Group yearly budget (implemented 1st week of joining) -Exporting of customer billings and supplier invoices from Chase into Pastel -Setting up new customers and suppliers in Chase system and monitoring running of Chase system to ensure there are no errors -Bank Reconciliations -Implementation of better systems and control for the admin/finance department regarding finance, stationery, orders -Checking recons of Cost Estimates billed to client versus supplier orders and invoices and job recons at month end, raising of provisions for work in progress jobs
