The key feature of any virtual appliance is to keep the resource requirements (disk space, CPU usage and RAM usage) to a minimum and yet fully perform and meet its purpose.  Notable among them are:
    • A very small CentOS distribution (disk space: 32 Mb, MEM  requirement: 8 MB) to function as a OpenVPN router with multiple Connections. The router served many geographical IPs for the internal LAN.

The networking of different nodes were done to extract the best performance out of this huge Parallel Processing System. Many application were converted from serial execution to parallel enivronment.
