We Filipinos are known for our proficiency in English, this is actually our main advantage against other asian nationalities when applying for our desired jobs overseas. By nature, English is generally our second language. I am also a debater and was once a champion debater back in college. English is also the medium of instruction whenever i give my lectures as well as in my post graduate classes. I also write blogs from time to time.
I'm quite proficient when it comes to the following computer skills:Â
BBC Trading is a small business owned and managed by my father. We generally provide financing services to suppliers of scrap cartons to the United Pulp and Paper Company, which happened to be the former employer of my dad prior to his retirement in 1999. My job is quite simple, i just pay deliveries of suppliers who use our purchase order and in turn we collect our billing or receivables from the company on a weekly basis. To make it simple, we act like a middle man between the Paper Company and potential suppliers of scrap cartons from various points in the Philippines. i run errands for my dad such as bank transactions and encoding of all deliveries made every single day. As such, i have plenty of spare time to do extra work that is why i decided to join oDesk.Â
