GAZOOBA: A Travel Portal
This Website is the portal of Gazooba Travel Inc. They offer services airline tickets, car rental, hotel bookings, vacation packages, cruises and special offers including last minute deals. They also offer commission services for the agents. This site was initially developed in asp and I converted this website into Asp.Net with some additional features. I also worked on some other portals which only work for their agents.
Responsibilities:
• Developed various web services using WCF and Service Oriented Architecture framework which are being consumed by other applications and for the communication between the real time book systems.
• Migrated whole application from Classic ASP to ASP.Net 3.5 & MS Access to SQL Server 2005.
• Used ADO.NET classes to connect to Database server.
• Used ASP.NET Master Page to design UI template and the master pages.
• Used the Script Manager and Update Panel of .NET AJAX to do asynchronous page post backs.
• Used SDLC agile model to develop the application.
• The client side events were handled using JavaScript.
• Used LINQ Feature of .NET 3.5 for data filtration.
• Designed the application and database of Bill Processing, Financial Accounting & Voucher Export modules.
• Actively participated in gathering requirements, designing the specifications, database and object oriented model for the application.
• Prepared estimates, setting work priorities and scheduling timelines for delivery.
• Worked on Visual Studio 2008 with Team Foundation Server as version control.
• Writing various data manipulation task required for the application. The task includes writing stored Procedures and functions, designing tables as per requirement and also optimizing database performance.
• After development, participating in unit testing and module testing.
uTracker A Rich Internet Application
It is a RIA (Rich Internet Application) based project designed for united first financial. I developed a section related to contact management. This section maintains Property, banking and credit information of a contact.
Responsibilities:
• Worked on Interface design using Flex components and controls.
• Implemented CSS styles and effects to flex components.
• Modified third party controls like schedulers as per the project requirement.
• Worked on the assigning event handlers to the flex components
• Implemented the change requests, along with the application development.
• Worked on Display charts for financial data and various Flex build custom UI components.
• Worked on Visual Studio 2008 with Team Foundation Server as version control.
• Used ADO.NET classes to connect to Database server.
• Used LINQ Feature of .NET 3.5 for data filtration.

Besides the features of social networking websites its major concern with the artworks which are being upload by the users and visible to the other users as per the category of the artwork.

• Prepared estimates, setting work priorities and scheduling timelines for delivery.

This is a website for online shopping. Admin enters the details about the products and allow them to be visible for the end user. Registered users will get special benifits like discounts etc on purchasing the products. It also maintains the Inventory level i.e. when product quantity moves below a specific level then a mail is automatically generated to admin regarding this.so that the admin can furthur contact for new stock.
